Hi I’m Adrian a wedding photographer and videographer with many years experience. Also a husband and father with a growing family. I have lived all my life in Basildon, Essex and book most of my weddings in Essex, Kent, Suffolk and the South East, although I have travelled as far afield as the USA. My free time is also spent with a camera around my neck, travelling to local and far away places doing the thing I love the most - taking pictures, I have the most patient wife on the planet :). You’ll find me chatty, friendly and upbeat with a good sense of humour.

Many moons ago as a young lad I was obsessed with my fathers camera, especially as he would always have a slideshow of our family holidays where we would relive happy times. I bought my own when I was 18 and would take day trips anywhere and everywhere to take photos. In my twenties I was asked to photograph a family wedding and then a video for a friends wedding and soon friends and then friends of friends.

When things became too busy I gave up my day job and started my photography business. Weddings were my love as the day is always full of smiling happy people and no two weddings are the same. It’s great to meet new people and leave with a few new friends.

My photography and videography tells your story in a natural but creative style and my passion has always been to capture the beauty and emotion of weddings. I’ll build a great rapport with the guests and children which helps no end when it comes to the group photos. I call these natural formals because there’s no fake smiles here, with a bit of banter it’s smiles and laughter all the way. 

My Approach

Photography

I’ll tell the story of your day as it unfolds honestly and candidly. With this in mind they’ll be no unnecessary interruption during the wedding from me, so you can enjoy your day. I want you to remember that you had a fabulous day when you look back on the photos in years to come. By then you may have forgotten the banter we shared and laughs we had but you won’t forget all the memories that the photos bring back.

That doesn’t mean you won’t have family and friend group photos after the ceremony, that’s entirely your choice. I’ll plan this with you before hand and on the day I’ll get them organised quickly and efficiently with good humour.

For those special couple shots my style is all about creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere where the couple can be themselves and enjoy the moment. There’s no awkward unnatural poses, instead, I provide a little direction where needed and let your natural chemistry shine through. With a bit of fun and banter you’ll relax and feel comfortable allowing me to capture natural smiles and genuine emotions. We’ll use the various backdrops and locations around the grounds to create unique and memorable photos. When done you’ll have some great photos of the two of you and it will only take a few minutes.

The rest of the day will then unfold and I’ll take tons of candids, many of which you’ll not have witnessed on the day but can enjoy forever.

After your wedding you’ll receive some previews within a day or two and all your images will be available within two to three weeks all fully and individually edited.

Videography

The style will be the same but it’s worth adding that I’ll also use a multi-camera approach to cut to different perspectives for a polished feel. I’ll also use professional microphones for the ceremony and speeches so you can relive the moments with crystal clear sound. There’ll be a lot to plan and discuss as I have lots of great ideas you may like included such as, Drone footage, messages read out to each other overlayed onto your partners preparations, fun table dash before the wedding meal and recorded guest messages for you that you’ll only hear when you see the final movie.

After your wedding you’ll receive a trailer a day or two after, then a highlight movie with all the key moments, great to relive time and again and to show colleagues and friends. Finally a longer movie with all the ceremony and speeches and much more of the whole day.

Your photos and video are important and I’ll take no chances capturing your images - that means using the latest professional equipment with backups. I am also fully covered with public liability and indemnity insurance.

All the planning and preparation for your photography and film is arranged well before the wedding and an initial consultation is recommended to discuss your plans and you’ll have a better idea if I’m the right photographer for you. Once booked I’ll then send you more information leading up to your wedding day including a wedding photography guide explaining what to expect and a group picture guide taking you through the options and timings of group pictures. I will also catch up or meet you again shortly before the wedding to confirm/update all the details and timing.

Hi, I’m Dave, a full-time professional wedding videographer with Adrian Miller Photography. I have been in the wedding photography business for several years and have had the pleasure of capturing some of the most beautiful moments of my clients’ lives.

I have always been a creative and was trained as an illustrator in St Martins School of Art and illustrating was my first profession. For many years I suffered from cateracts until a few years ago when pioneering eye surgery changed my life. I could see clearly for the first time in my life and passed my driving test - freedom 😁. Meeting Adrian through a mutual friend in 2013 we became great friends and shared a common passion, photography and videography. It didn’t take much persuasion to join the team and can honestly say that our hobby is our work.

My Journey: My passion for videography and photography and all things creative began from an early age. I loved making my own silly films and creating special effects for them. Shortly after I met Adrian from Adrian Miller Photography I joined the team. I focus primarily on the film side but love photography too. This was a dream come true, my passion was now my job.

My Style: My videography style is relaxed and natural, which allows me to capture the essence of the moment without being intrusive. I love the banter with all the guests which helps no end with the filming as I believe that the best moments are captured when people are at ease and comfortable. I use a multi-camera setup with professional audio to ensure that every moment is captured perfectly.

My Expertise: With several years of experience in wedding videography throughout Essex, Kent, and the South East, I have a creative eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a wedding film great. With that in mind I have several unique ideas to discuss with you 😊 as I approach every wedding with a fresh perspective, and I am always looking for new ways to be creative. Most packages provide you with both a highlight film and a longer version covering the entire ceremony, speeches and much more throughout the day. All films are edited in my unique style but will discuss any particular requirements you may have. All weddings are different, some are even themed and I’ll happily expand upon this in the final films. I take great care to ensure that every film is a true reflection of the your special day.

I am very lucky to say that my profession is my hobby, but on the days when I am not behind the lens creatively and hunting for a perfect shot, I like to spend time with my family and close friends. I prefer cosy evenings to loud parties. A day spent in a spa centre always help me to unwind and to feel refreshed. I am a massive foody and I love going to nice restaurants and trying out some new dishes. I love photographing pets and I have two perfect models living with me -my cat Basil and rabbit, Snuggles.
