Crondon Park In Essex could be your perfect wedding venue

The Crondon Park wedding venue is located in Stock, Essex and has the beautiful Baronial Hall as the centrepiece barn. Built around 1600 from light-coloured oak in a Tudor/Jacobean style. With plenty of light during the day and lit beautifully for the evening function with hundreds of LED lights making for a magical atmosphere. They can even colour co-ordinate the lighting for you. The solid wood flooring adds to the medieval feel of the venue and together with the lighting makes for some wonderful photography.

The Ryder room is part of the Baronial suite and is where the wedding ceremony will be held unless you choose an outside wedding of course. The lawn outside has a fountain in the centre and is lined by tall trees providing a nice inclosure. The space outside the \ryder room is the allocated place for a lovely outside wedding. They have recently added a large awning too, providing welcome cover for those less than perfect days.

Group Photos can be kept within the lawn area but for the bride and groom a very short walk opens up the beautiful surrounding fields for some stunning natural portrait photography and video.

Having photographed and filmed many weddings at Crondon Park I feel qualified in saying this is a great choice if you’re going for the barn style. It’s a photographers dream with the superb barn and all its character, great high ceilings and plenty of space throughout the barn and grounds. The Granary is also a great choice for the bridal preparations, situated in its own space overlooking the fields with it’s own private garden complete with fountain. Inside the Granary the full length windows have spectacular views too, making the preparations really memorable.

Living locally I really enjoy my visits to Crondon Park as the variety you get for photos and film is always memorable. Even in the winter months the beautiful colours from the surrounding trees provide interest or when snow topped you get that great English winter wedding. Situated off the Stock road you venture deep into the valley before you appraoch the venue, and get a glimpse of the atmosphere within.
