The Majestic Manor – A Rich History:

Leez Priory is a Grade I listed building, constructed in the 16th century by Sir Richard Rich, the 1st Baron Rich. This enchanting mansion has since been restored to retain its original charm while providing modern amenities. As you walk to the Priory you’ll notice the beautiful lake to your left and the manicured grounds to the right. Leez Priory is complete with beautiful historic halls and oak-beamed ceilings, you'll be transported back in time, creating the perfect backdrop for your timeless wedding celebration.

Preparations at Leez Priory

If you’ve booked the fisherman’s cottage then your preparations will be perfect as this is just by the lake, fully equipped and spacious. Otherwise prep can be in the main priory rooms. Then there is the lodge at the front so plenty of options for both partners.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces AT Leez Priory

At Leez Priory, you can choose from a variety of Eight stunning spaces to host your ceremony and reception. If you’re looking for an outdoor ceremony consider the Great Tower – a beautiful, ivy-clad structure or Leez Priory itself as the backdrop. For indoor weddings opt for the Tower up one level for a princess feel or the Great Hall in the main building with its oak beams and traditional fireplace or the rustic Coach House for a barn-like style.

Exquisite Culinary Experiences

One of the most important aspects of any wedding is, of course, the food and Leez Priory won’t disappoint. The in-house team of expert chefs create mouth-watering menus that I can personally vouch for. From sumptuous canapés to tasty three-course meals, your guests will be raving about the cuisine long after the big day.

Leez Priory offers on-site accommodation for guests and the newlyweds can retire to the Bridal Suite, a luxurious space complete with a four-poster bed and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. For the couple photos, I’d recommend a walk around the grounds to make the most of all Leez Priory has to offer.

The evening Party

After cutting the cake in the main foyer your first dance will follow right there and the main oak doors can be opened so guests can gather inside and out. In the warmer months, you can take the first dance and party outdoors surrounded by the unique charm of the venue. Then there’s the cellar-style dedicated disco area ideal in the colder months with the nearby bar area keeping guests warm with its open fire.
