The Grooms Room
The Wedding Lodge is a large separate building where you can stay the night before and use it for your preparations. With another room on the side, it’s ideal for the grooms party too, or a separate room for same-sex sex marraiges. It has a private garden too so photos inside and outside are possible.
Ceremonies at That Amazing Place
Up to 150 guests are catered for with indoor or outdoor locations. A favourite is the Gazebo by the lake, absolutely gorgeous memories are made here. Decorated to suit it sits at the bottom of the large lawns backing onto the woods and with a lovely pond at the side. The bride and party will walk from the house across the green to the gazebo. The wedding photography will be beautiful with views available from all four sides taking advantage of the perfect location.
The Lounge
Inside you have the Lounge with large bay sash windows which can be used as a ceremony area for 70 guests or a wedding breakfast room. If not used for these it remains a lounge of course.
This can also be turned into a dance floor in the evening if the larger marquee is not being used.
THE HALL
Inside you have the Hall with large bay sash windows which can be used as a ceremony area for 100 guests, a wedding breakfast room or a dancefloor area if the marquee is not being used.

Drinks Reception
There is a patio outside the Manor and guests will be sitting around the tables or mingling and chatting on the green. One or two may take advantage of the tree swing for some fun photos too. Of course there;’s indoor areas too for those colder days.

The group wedding photos can be taken in a variety of locations but for convenience, I’ll choose the lawn area beside the patio. There are shaded areas here too for those hot sunny days.
Couple Portraits
A walk through an archway with a path leading to a small orchard is a good starting point. Then a walk down to the lake and up to the swing will provide lots of variation and superb backgrounds.
Wedding Breakfast
The Hall is accessible from both the outside gardens and inside the manor house. It’s a multi-function room and is often used as the wedding breakfast area for medium to small weddings. The Marquee will cater for up to 150.
The Party
THE MARQUEE
Purpose built the marquee features windows with views of the estate allowing plenty of light to stream in. The white lined ceilings and chandeliers as well as mood lighting adds a nice touch. This is one of the best party areas for venues in Essex as all guests are catered for with plenty of tables. Those not dancing can sit and enjoy the spectacle.
