Vaulty Manor In Essex
It was a gorgeous late August day for Leanne and Damions wedding. It was nice to be back at Vaulty Manor, an exclusive venue situated East of Maldon in Essex with a beautiful Manor house and a barn dating from the 1600’s. On a fine day the ceremony can be outdoors if preferred with a choice of locations around the grounds. The Manor house has a large bridal suite, four other rooms as well as a hair and make-up room. As a nice touch there is a pool area with hot tub too - nice.
Leanne took full advantage of the Bridal Suite for her preparations in the Manor house and I joined them after a few photographs of the grounds. Everyone was in good spirits, the sun was shining and all was well. Half way through I headed over to the barn as there was a special practice going on, Leanne had arranged for an owl to be ring bearer as a special treat for Damion. Although the trial run with the own went well and I was looking forward to getting some great shots, the Registrar decided to step right in front of me just at the critical moment, I quickly stepped to the side and grabbed what I could, but of course it was over in seconds.
Fortunately we had an opportunity to get some pics of Damion and Leanne with the beautiful barn own after the ceremony. The beam on Damions face was a sight to see. The afternoon sun lit up the venue as I found shade under the large oak tree for some family and friend groups. Then it was time for the couple shots. A few around the grounds as well as by the pool and in front of the manor house were taken before they joined their guests again for drinks before the meal.
